Discovering the Learn2Jog program I could not wait to get started, the idea of running 5kms in 5 weeks sounded like a major challenge, I had written myself off as a 50 year old mother of 5 who would struggle to walk 5km’s let alone jog. My primary motivation was to help shift some kilos for our mid year holiday, as well as developing a level of fitness that I could hopefully maintain. I learned to enjoy the early mornings and surprisingly the jogging too! At the end of every session I was surprised by the amount I was accomplishing. But for me, the real highlight was when I finally reached my 5kms, I could not help scream out a big ‘Yahoo’ at how incredible it felt. Diane was there for every step encouraging and reminding me of all the techniques we had learnt. What a high, to tick off an achievement from my bucket list! With Diane’s words of encouragement I am confident in my ability to continue challenging myself and maintaining a new found level of fitness.

I have just completed my 5th session of Learn2Jog and have run my 5ks!
This morning I was filled with self doubt and wondered what on earth I had done to get myself into this situation. Tonight, my Jogging coach ran most of the way with me, encouraging me all the way. She believed in me even when I would have quite happily stopped and gone home.
Thank you Di, you are wonderful ! I will not hesitate to recommend this program to everyone I know.

I joined Learn 2 Jog as a challenge to myself. I really didn't believe that I could be running 5km in 5 weeks as I could barely run round the block! The diverse sessions and the different locations kept me motivated as I never knew what training would be coming next. I think the group motivation played a big role in the enjoyment of the exercise. I couldn't believe it in week 2 that I'd run 2km and still my mind kept telling me that 5km was unacheiveable.. but Di, ever-positive and encouraging, believed in us all and kept pushing us to our personal best. "I can't" was no longer in my vocabulary and by week 5 I did my 5kms and had family cheering me on at the end!
Now I've got the running bug and completed my first ever Fun Run - the Sussan Classic at St Kilda. With the Learn 2 Jog team I ran the 5km's in 31 minutes. Now I'm getting ready for my next fun run with the team!

Before I commenced the Learn 2 Jog program I couldn't even jog around the block! I was tired of not getting any results at the gym so decided to try something new. To be honest, I laughed when I was told that I would be jogging 5km in just 5 weeks, as did my family and friends.
I loved every minute of our training sessions, the variety and support was just amazing! I couldn't have been prouder of myself nor my team the day we did our 5km run! Not only did I gain the valuable skills and technique that I can use forever I would highly recommend this program to anyone, no matter what, size, age or fitness level!

I had always struggled with jogging & I didn't like it because I found it so difficult to do! Di promised me I would be jogging 5kms in 5wks but I didn’t really believe it. I actually joined to prove that it couldn't be done and I told her so! Well, I was so very wrong. It can be done. Learn 2 Jog was fantastic! Now I'm the envy of the girls at work. I've lost weight, toned my legs and increased my fitness. I find jogging invigorating now, and I'm so proud of myself for achieving my first 5km Fun Run (Run4TheKids) - without needing to walk any of it! I've still kept jogging too and love it!

I have trained for many years and have enjoyed the different styles of all my trainers, however I have never come across the dedication, inspiration and attention to detail Ty has. Not only is he an exceptional trainer, but he sees in you things you only dare to dream of yourself. Ty suggested I have a session with the Weightloss Coach Diane about nutrition. The first day I met Diane, all my old defence mechanisms that had always made me right in the past , went silent… and simply said “trust her”. Diane guided me through the next 6 months, creating my food plans, giving me the love, support and education I needed, and complemented Ty’s training with her Learn 2 Jog program. Her knowledge and experience was comforting, and I trusted if I followed her suggestions I would achieve my goals. Two weeks off my 41st birthday, I am the fittest, slimmest (25kg lighter), healthiest and happiest I have ever been in my life. I have completed my first triathlon, and have the 600km Great Vic Bike Ride, The Noosa Triathlon, a number of 10km fun runs and the summer series of Sprint Triathlons firmly marked in my diary. There are no words to express the magnitude of my gratitude to Ty and Diane. If you have a desire to be a better version of yourself, with these two outstanding experts by your side ..….. anything is possible.

I've never been one who had been able to jog around the block let alone 5km, so when a friend successfully completed the course, I thought 'I want to do this as well'. So I started the program and could not believe that half way through we were already jogging 2-3km! My self confidence just kept on going up and up!! The program that Di has created is absolutely awesome and is designed so that each week you are running further whilst also learning valuable skills and techniques all in a supportive group environment. After achieving my first 5k's I have not looked back and have completed many 5k's after this. I would recommend this program to everyone!

When I started with Di, I had two goals…I wanted to get in the best possible shape to start a family and I wanted to enjoy exercising.
Di developed a food and exercise program for me that gave me the results I was after. Three months in, I ran the puffing billy fun run (13kms) and I was 6 weeks pregnant!
Di tailored the program for me which meant I was able to keep training all through my pregnancy and by the end of it I was fitter and stronger than I had ever been. This meant that my recovery after having a baby was so much quicker. I was back in my pre-pregnancy jeans after 1.5 months and back to pre-pregnancy weight after 2 months.

Thanks for sharing great jogging tips with us with the team at Lululemon Bourke St. On Saturday I ran 8K thinking about the technique you taught us and it went great. Could have continued for at least 20 minutes more with the speed of 12K/h without much effort. :-). Thank you for inspiring me!

I've learnt so much from the few intro sessions you've given us in Sorrento, I just wanted to say a huge THANK YOU as you have re-inspired me and my jogging has improved out of sight because of this. I'm so pumped to start the full program, until then I'll keep practising!
